For recipes that don't call for self-rising flour, baking powder is baking powder (as the nice lady posted above), and baking soda is 식소다. If you're in a smallish burg, you're going to need to ask for these. They sell them in the supermarket near my house, but I had to ask for it at first, and the younger set had to ask the older folk where to find it. |

I've never seen sefl rising flour here in Korea but it is easy enough to make.
For each cup of all-purpose flour, add 1 1/2 teaspoons of baking powder and 1/2 teaspoon of salt. |
