Im pretty sure Im moving to Yongin in around a month. Anyone living there at the moment that can offer some advice? |

dude. yongin is a huge place! find out if you are in the boonies! or suji! big difference... |

I've lived in Yongin (Suji specifically) for 3 years. I know a decent amount it and the surrounding area.

Wow! I was just trying to find out about Yongin yesterday.
I live in Jamsil and was offered a high paying short-hours job in Yongin and was trying to find out the quickest or best way to travel from Jamsil to Yongin and back each day.
Anyone in the knowhow of the best transport (subway, bus etc) and the time-length to travel Jamsil to Yongin ?
(I was offered another job in Gangnam, however the Yongin position has shorter hours, higher salary and the students are easier to teach).
By the way, also the people and (students) there, are they spoilt and misbehaved like Seoul kids or because Yongin is in the greater-outside-seoul are they more country-like and easier to please? |

I'm no expert on Yongin, but don't think there aren't some very spoiled children in the 'burbs. There's a lot of very rich families living around Seoul and may very well have spoiled children (not a rule). Take Ilsan or Bundang for example. |

I don't travel to Jamsil too often but every time I do it seems like it takes forever. I took a bus once and I don't know if traffic was espically bad that day but it took well over an hour.
I'm not so sure about the kids being easier to teach, I've done part time jobs all over the place and it seems the kids are somewhat similar, one bad kid can ruin my class. But then again i'm not that good of a teacher!
I would personally prefer one hour of commute time to an extra hour of teaching, so traveling to Yongin might not be a bad idea for the extra money. |

| I forget if it is the 6800 that goes Jamsil to Suji. ... Isn't there an internet site buspia or something like that? Subway? Don't waste your time. |

depends where in yongin you accepted the job..
Jukjeon or suji yeah great..
Ichon or out by everland maybe not! |
