I'd like to have a static IP without paying for one. Every company's salespeople say their IPs are dynamic and will change periodically but the local company I use now renews the same IP as long as my router is always on. So while it's technically considered a dynamic IP, I've had the same IP for more than a year.
Since SK is a little cheaper and national (so I could feel more comfortable about signing a longer-term contract), I'm wondering what people's experiences have been with connecting to SK Broadband with routers (not SK provided modems). Is your IP always changing or does it stay the same? |
