I forwarded a port ages ago for utorrent, and it was working until today - now it's not forwarding properly. I tried changing the port number, but nadda. Any help? Here's a screenshot:

I don't remember why I initially put a value of 2 for LAN IP 주소 (192.168.0.2), but I'm thinking this is the problem as it might have changed. I'm on wireless and I thought the LAN IP was my unique number on the network.. however, when I look up my info, here's what I get:
IPv4 Address: 192.168.123.102
IPv4 Default Gateway: 192.168.123.254
IPv4 DHCP Server: 192.168.123.254
IPv4 DNS Server: 192.168.0.1
Can anyone suggest what I value I should add under LAN IP 주소? |

As far as I'm aware the 2 is totally determined by you in the windows network settings. Under your network settings, you can choose any number between 1 and 99. The rest (192.168.123) is predetermined by your router.
But I'm not router expert, lol! They give me hell all the time. |

Aye, but the problem is that the LAN IP in the router's port forwarding settings (192.168.0.2) and my LAN IP (192.168.123.102, I think) don't have the same sequence.
192.168.0.XXX
192.168.123.XXX
^Not the same.
Anyway, where can I reach the settings to assign the last value (the last 3 digits)? You said it was in the windows network setting somewhere? I thought that choice was generally made in the router settings, but I can't seem to find it in my router |

Start>Connect to>Show all connections>Local Area Connections>Properties>TCP/IP>Properties
That might be a long way about getting there?
Anyway, perhaps the ISP has temporarily blocked that port? Try a different port... It used to happen to me sometimes, they would block certain ports.
I used a process of elimination to sort it out.
Unplug the router and go from there. Once you've found a port that forwards properly, plug back in the router and try again.
Again, sorry for not being more helpful! |
