Had that happen a few times with women. Most don't care but so far after arriving there are a few that when the door opens and they see me alone inside they hesitate and then simply walk away.
Anyone else experience this?
I guess I shouldn't allow it to but it makes me feel dirty and guilty Sad

What that means is 'I am a foreigner'. What she would be saying is 'waegugin ida'

Its such little details as this which reveal a massive amount about the way these people think.

They do the same with seats next to foreigners on public transport. Rolling Eyes

Never happens to me, but when a group of women come in I hear comments such as "He smells like cheese" and "I wonder if he's had his hamburger or pizza yet today."

i've had it happen and i'm a relatively normal looking, petite, non-smelly, 20-something foreign woman.
some people are just idiots.
whatever - more elevator space for me.

This has never ever once happened to me. I've had girls get on and could see them get a wee bit uptight, but I've always chalked it up to them thinking "O mo na! Tom Cruise!"

I'll even dare say that if they won't ride with you on the elevator, YOU ARE A FREAK (and not in a good/sexual way)

Do you look directly at them? I could understand them freaking out with that.

I don't tend to look at strangers, so I really haven't had that problem.
