I use apple cider vinegar and baking soda for everything! (from washing my hair to cleaning) Are either of these two products hard to find in Korea? I'm assuming baking soda is easy to find but I can't get concrete evidence about A.C. Vinegar? Anyone know? Thanks!

P.S. I'm moving to Daegu in a few weeks

apple cider is easy to find, it's at most local grocery stores, emart and homeplus.
Baking soda, on the other hand, isn't as easy to find. Costco sells it but they are the only ones I know who carry it.

Baking soda is also easy to find. Even my little mom & pop Mart carries it. It's in little packets in a basket, next to the corn starch.

Korea has a pretty wide variety of vinegars.

The baking soda is in the veggie section of the supermarket. they use it for washing veggies.

There are about 100 kinds of vinegar to choose from here and cider vinegar is available just about everywhere.

Yeah, like one of those erupting volcanos we made in class when we were kids!

Baking soda is often with the cleaning supplies, dear the dish soap, if you don't see it in the vegetable aisle. It's in a round plastic bottle, not a cardboard box. It's the same orange Arm & Hammer logo.

There are many kinds of vinegar in Korea. The ACV isn't like you are probably used to. It's more like apple-scented vinegar. Although it could possibly be made from apples, it doesn't have mother or anything like that. I use lemon vinegar for my hair in Korea.

I've seen baking soda near the salts. It's called 소다 (literally 'so-da').

baking soda is shik soda. As stated above it is available in every small store to big grocery store, it comes in small plastic pouches, and costs only a few hundred won. Baking powder is less abundant but still available.

The vinegar in Korea is quite strong and takes some getting used to. I don't like cooking with most of the vinegars here.
