This is a horribly written and studied article, true or not.

You mean there are people that spend money on pornography? As cultural ambassadors of the west, I think we need to take steps to educate our Korean friends in the art of peer to peer file sharing. I mean for the sake of human decency. Idea

True. The automated translation isn't so good but I'm sure that if the article was originally from the BBC then there is probably an English version as well.

If know some Korean, you can play with the translation at Google Translate.

On a side note, it looks like Canada and Australia tie for second place. Go Canucks!

They really should differentiate between consumption and quality.

Regardless, pass the giant foam finger, this apologista needs it. And the hand cream.

The title of this thread is misleading, as a native speaker of English, I would intpret it as "production", but since pornography is illegal in South Korea, that's obviously not what the OP had intended to say.

Maybe that fits well with the poorly written article?

Little heads up, Korea has ranked at the top of the list in "consumption" for the last few years. No big surprise there, considering the "repression" that most Koreans seem to suffer from.

Oh boy that was such a poorly written sentence. It's gonna be a while before I live that one down.

It's too late but the giant foam finger is for the fact that "We're #1"

And the hand cream, well, yeah.
