We are heading there for Spring break and wondering if anyone has been or has any advice.
Should we stay at lonely beach or white sands beach or klong prao? Is airconditioning really necessary or can you sleep comfortably in a fan bungalow?
How are the roads for renting motorbikes/ is it dangerous?
Has anyone been snorkling or scuba diving here and how is it?
any tips would be appreciated! |

I went to Ko Chang last August. I stayed at white sands. My friend and I rented a bungalow for 800 baht a night. White sands was cool, we ate at a really nice restaurant on the beach, fresh grilled snapper. We also went snorkeling. The boat took us to 4 different islands to snorkel. The water was bathwater warm, clear, and the fish were very colorful. We also did some elephant riding in the rainforest, where I was attacked by a monkey who stole my hat. |

Also from what I saw the roads were good. My bungalow had an airconditioner. I love hot weather and humidity, so it depends on your tolerance level, but a fan would have been good enough me. |
