Selling a Kindle (6" Display, Global Wireless, Latest Generation) with Amazon leather protective cover. Bought it for my wife as a Christmas present and just received it yesterday, but she doesn't like it.
On the market for 350,000 won.
Here is the breakdown in U.S. dollars:
$259 for the Kindle
$29 Leather case
$30 Shipping
$37 Import fee
That works out to be about 415,000 won. So you are getting a brand new Kindle for 65,000 won cheaper than Amazon, who won't ship a Kindle to Korea anyway even if you wanted to buy from them online.
I prefer to do a face to face transaction, but I will ship if absolutely necessary.
We are located in Haebanchong.

Or just buy a netbook for ~400K
Read books (any format and in color), watch movies, listen to music, games....
You guys are nuts to spend so much on a single-use monochrome pos like the kindle.

while I love my netbook, most books take longer than the 4.5hr battery life allows.
Personally, I wish Barnes & Noble would allow international use of the Nook, I played with that in a store before I left, and it was awesome. |

If you only read at home or at Starbucks, this might make sense. If you like to read books anywhere else, it is just wrong. For example, reading on a netbook on the subway during rush hour would be very difficult and inconvenient. Reading on an eBook reader is still easy in that situation. Reading outside in full sunlight is easy on an eBook reader, but difficult/impossible with netbooks. There is a huge difference in usability between multipurpose devices and dedicated devices. If you don't read very often, then you can use your netbook (if you have one). Otherwise, I would say that an eReader is a worthwhile purchase! |

The Kindle is still available. A few people have been interested in buying it but can't meet until the end of the week/weekend, so if you are interested and can meet earlier it's yours. |
