Pretty much no apostille office will apostille a diploma. What you'll need to do is get a copy notarized and the apostille office will then apostille the notary. |

Hey Rocket! I am in the process of doing this right now. What university did you go to? My university had a lady in the office that prepared all of my documents and transcripts to be apostilled. I have a letter of authentication written by her, notarized by another person at the school. She provided a certified copy of my diploma. You can mail the documents to Austin with payment or you can bring them in person if you are local. I have the paperwork if you'd like me to fax it to you. |

The only thing that I had to get apostilled was my Criminal Background Check. never heard of having to get my diploma apostilled. |

I didn't want to send my original diploma so I got a copy of it made and notarized at fed ex right by the SOS building, went to the Secretary of State in Austin, paid like 15 dollars and had her apostillize the document. It only took about ten minutes there. I think it is a good idea so that way you don't have to worry about getting your diploma back or worry about it getting lost in the mail. |
