That's strange because I always assumed Earthquakes in Korea were too small to be felt.

No - there was a definite shake and rumble.

The last was not long after Apocolypto was released cos I was watching it when it hit.

For me though it was 6:12, not 6:08. Aftershocks from a quake somewhere? Anyone checked the news?

My friend felt it somewhat in the north east of Seoul, and I am down in the south west. Very unusual.

6:08 here for me. i had never never felt an earthquake before so i asked my gf if she felt it, and she did too. we both live in different parts of seoul (dongjak-gu and gangnam) so i figured it was an earthquake at that point.

Lasted about 2 seconds in Suwon, but felt the house shake. It was nothing compared to the 6.8 quake I felt in 2001 in Seattle

The South may also have decided that it needs to test nukes too (and reports of small quakes could be coordinated intelligence cover...)

Of course, that probably isn't the case (but it is possible...)
