I got to see him live at the Fox like two months before he died. Great time. Great man. |

Didn't know that Mitch Hedberg had died.
Caught his act at the 40 Watt in Athens.
Great talent.
Daniel Tosh is hilarious. |

George Carlin had some greatness. (rip)
But I still vote for Rowan Atkinson, just too funny. |

| Peter Sellers was great in the Pink Panther movies, also. When he pulls the wrong tooth ( i forget which movie exactly ) I nearly died. |

| No one in particular but Youtube some of the "Dean Martin Roast" clips. Some truly funny stuff. Old school comedy: Soupy Sales, Foster Brooks, Dean Martin, Don Rickles.... |

Depends on my mood.
I routinely compare others to Carlin though so I guess he would be the bar.
Hedberg's great too. Can't beat that delivery. |

George Carlin was great. I love Bill Murray but I've only seen him in films. My favorite stand-up comedian is still Margaret Cho who is not a man but very funny. I've seen a lot of great up and comers on ROFL on Revision3.com.
My husband reminded me just now that Adam Corolla is a hilarious and brilliant story teller. He has a very old-fashioned talent and is a classical performer, I'd say. |

Yep, Bush could have 'accidentally' launched nukes at half the word and everyone would just smile and think "that Bush idiot did it again...hahaha" |

I think that Charlie Chaplin was the most brilliant comedic actor but not the funniest.
Here's Comedy Central's list of top 100 stand-up comedians of all time -- and Gallagher tops the list! (which begins at #100...)
Without looking, guess who their panel of comedians and comedy writers plcked as the #1 stand-up comic of all time...
