|
|
My E-2 visa expires on Tuesday, so it's too late for me to apply for a temporary extension online. Does anyone know if I have to go to the Mokdong office to apply for an extension? Or is there another place I can go that's not so far? (I live near Hongdae.)
Any help is highly appreciated. Thanks! |

If it is an actual E2 extension you MUST get it done at the place that issued your ARC.
You should (but no assurance that you in fact can) be able to get a non-working extension at any immigration office.

I got an extension the day before my visa expired at Mokdong before. Bring your plane ticket, ARC card, and passport. I thought it was supposed to be 10,000 Won, but I wasn't charged anything. Mokdong really isn't far from Hongdae either. |

Thanks to both of you for replying. I'll go to Mokdong tomorrow.
Louiloui, I'm glad you mentioned that the immigration office isn't that far away for me. Turns out I had the wrong address and thought it was way further away than it acutally is! |
