I'm watching Appaloosa, after having caught up on the news and fmylife.

I'm currently 3 weeks ahead with my lesson plans, so not just some kid straight out of uni looking for a party. I just don't know who my coteachers will be this year, so don't want to go too far ahead.

Any time-filling suggestions?

Maybe you'll find this useful: I've got a post on my blog called "How To Be Productive While Desk Warming" here:

Good luck!

As for internet, as I said, I caught up on the news. I use news as a broad term, including tech mags and foodie blogs. I facebooked, emailed my beau, even sent one to my grandma (she's new to the interwebs, so is always excited to receive "electronic mail").

I'm knitting a scarf, but left it home today.

I read a book yesterday.

As for my resume, I redesigned and updated it as soon as I got this job. It's not just some template on word. I used adobe.

I'm not moping--just hoping that someone had a website to suggest that I didn't know about. I've got more movies, and lots of Fraggle Rock, if I can't find something else to do.

Thanks for the info though. Smile

Nah I'm terrible with intricate lacy or cable stitches. I like doing a seed stitch border, with knit/purl checkerboxes and a fringe on the end. It's my favorite pattern.

Seed stitch is my fav. I made my head coteacher a hat when I first got here.

I'm eating kim chi out of a dog bowl in the corner of my principle's office while writing flyers for anti-English spectrum....

Just joking. Lesson plans and organizing the office for the next poor soul who takes my job in 4 weeks.

I'm going to make some flashcards soon (clothes) and then maybe watch some old peep show episodes on youtube if it lets me (the best uk tv show in decades, better than the ffice even imo.)

Super Hans, are you smoking crack?
Relax man, it's not like I'm sniffing glue. It's just a relaxing smoke of crack.

I wish I could get some lesson plans done, but my school doesn't even have a schedule yet. Kids are still registering at this middle school since about 5 more apartment complexes were completed... a jump from 11 Grade 1 classes to 17 this year.
They still don't know what I'll teach, being the only native speaker here.
Oh well today was my principal's retirement party so we had a really decent spread for lunch.
