Brodeur needs to stop touching the puck. I understand he's considered relatively good for a goaltender, but nearly every time I watch him on TV he screws up trying to handle the puck. Leave it for the defensemen, that's what they're there for, and they're certainly better at handling the puck than a goalie.

They'll probably need to start Brodeur just to make sure he's sharp for the next round, though he didn't look good against the US.

Maybe start Brodeur but on a short leash. One gaffe like last night and out he comes. A very tough call though.

Funny thing but Fluery was really the hottest guy leading into the Games.

In hindsight also I'd rather have kids in there instead of Pronger, Nieds.

But it's far from over and certainly we are capable of beating Russia.

Actually Luongo had the best save% in month before the olympics. Both Brodeur's and Fluery's save save% was under .9

Really? Does it compare to the 2004 US Olympic Basketball team's fail? How about the 2004 or 2008 US Olympic Baseball team's fail? Or how about the US World Baseball CLassic team's fail?
I dunno, aren't those 2 sports as American as apple pie in your country of 300million, with endless financial capital?

Wait, hey maybe it compares to the 30 US athletes barred this year for performance enhancing substances.

Personally, I think your website is the greatest fail.

Brodeur lost it when he batted the puck right to the american. As soon as I saw that I knew it would be a goal. I hate to say it but Brodeur is past his prime. I would go with Luongo.

Hindsight is 20/20 but it was a mistake to start him. He is past his prime (and overrated but that is another topic).

Haha, I didnt realized I had that old link on there, thanks for pointing it out!

And I never said I was American, I'm from Finland, just happy because I had money on the game and won big!

I don't like it when they switch back and forth between goaltenders. Should pick one guy and stick with him.

Luongo played against NORWAY. He faced less than 20 total shots!!
How many of those were legitimate scoring chances?? Pick one guy, show confidence in him, and stick with him.
