(Trying to round up documents without leaving Korea)

Is it faster and cheaper to get a CRC done in Korea through the FBI, or by your local state?

I called my local state and they want me to get finger prints done again for a state wide CRC. In total this would mean a routine something like this:

- state mails my mother the finger print card
- mother mails it to me fedex and quick
- I magically find a way to get finger prints done in korea
- I mail the finger print card back to my state office
- state office mails the crc to my mother
- mother mails it back to state capital to get an apostille
- state office mails it back to my mother
- mother sends the crc with apostille by fedex

Now is it me or does that seem just incredibly silly? There must be a faster way. The reason why it has to go back to my mother each time is because the state will only do regular mail which will take an eternity.

Is the FBI method faster and easier? What other options do I got here? Where can I get fingerprints done (for non FBI checks)?

I know there is an army base near yongsan that does FBI prints, but do they also do state finger print cards?

Thanks Confused

Maybe call and ask? If they do fingerprints, logic would say, they'd do the state ones too.

Does anyone have their number? I read about them in another thread but I have been unable to find a number (only directions to them).
