Good afternoon all,
I am due to move into a new apartment due to changing jobs. I need to know the rough cost and ease of arranging a removal van. I am moving apartments to a neighbourhood about 4 subway stops away. For most of my stuff I can just take a taxi/subway etc, but I also have a big closet, TV stand, washing machine, table and a few boxes of heavy stuff (plates/kitchen stuff etc). Between myself and the van man, we should'nt have any problems carrying the stuff upstairs if necessary.
So, can anyone help with an approximate estimate of cost of a relatively short and easy move? Can anyone recommend a company in the Mokdong area?
Much appreciated,

'ccording me uncle, a removalist truck will cost you around 100,000won (including taking things out and putting them in), depending on the distance travelled. A removalist car (a sedan) is cheaper but your load won't fit in it.

I was quite curious about this thread because one of my degrees is in mortuary science and for me a "removal van" is funeral home lingo for what most people think of as a hearse.
(Typically, an ordinary van is used to pick up a decedant from the place of death, and the fancier Cadilac or Lincoln is only used for that last ride.) |
