Patterson, Rangle, Mayor Larry Langford, and lots of election dropouts. I just watch and make a small mental note in case I need this for later. It gets worse, one story is very of desperate but in general, I see lots of things unraveling but i can't tell if its critical. It just looks bad.

Governor Sanford, Senators Vitter and Ensign, lots of incumbents dropping out. Ain't looking all that good for the GOP either. And then you throw in Michael Steele. While an embarrassment is not criminal, it is an embarrassment.

Most recent: Use fear to get contributions from party members. They actually said it.

The US is a two-party system. Always has been. It's very rare when a 3rd party makes any impact at all. They (3rd parties) are mainly popular with the chronically discontented.

Unlike some posters, I enjoy reading posts by non-Americans--they sometimes have interesting insights. However, those who know nothing about the basics of the American system should either study up on the basics or maintain silence. As ole Abe said, "Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak out and remove all doubt."

Why not try engaging with the argument instead of resorting to ad homs all the time?

The Republicans mentioned all got in trouble over affairs. Affairs aren't much of a catch. I don't think I'd want to make hay over affairs. "Look ! over there! A prostitute!" That kind of talk make me not think about the debt for just enough time to move on to a new article. Affairs won't land you in jail for 15 years and that's why its worse. A Republican free future? Oh boy. Miss us yet?

Democrats - "Hey look at Palin's retarded daughter!". "Hey retard! Over here retard! I'm gonna throw thew ball over your head to Nancy Pelosi, but you try to catch it, OK?"

You're lucky we didn't talk about Amy Bishop much.

Hmm, now where have I heard that before? Oh yeah, I said it to him today on another thread! Laughing

I'm seeing a pattern here.
