| I miss old technology where you just switch it on and it works. |

| I might have somewhat agreed with you had it not been for a day-long power outage I experienced recently. God that was a boring day. |

| No, because I'm good enough with them to know how to make sure they don't end up screwed up because I downloaded some crap I shouldn't have. Computers work great. |

Right. Learn a bit about computers and they'll run fine. |

I hate computers, because the day the computers took over the world was the day the world began to go to hell in a hand basket. What?
You can't uphold your end of the contract, because you haven't harnessed the power of your new finance software enough for it to allow you to pay out money? In theory they could work, but they don't, because human input error runs rife through many systems.
Back in the day where it worked when you simply switched it on was when people actually ran the world by being directly involved in making business decisions on a personal level. If they intended to hire or pay you, you quickly knew and your business relations were personal, because they mean a lot to your well being. Computers don't care if there is an obvious dumb mistake causing mayhem.
Computerized multimedia is entertaining, but for so many important systems like finance and HR to be automated decision makers is nothing less than the ruination of the world. I hate computers. |
