I've been watching that "lets talk Korean show".

It is worth watching if you are learning Korean and I've found it helpful in reinforcing concepts and I've learned a couple of new ones.

Plus the chickie is not bad on the eyes either. Nothing special but she is pretty cute.

Anyway, if you are elarning Korean check it out. I think at 6:50 in the morning and 11:50 as well.

It was much better when it was Ahn Chak-hee and the TKFL Teacher. More was covered in a half hour, no futzing around and goofing off, no heavily-accented Korean, and it was run 2 or 3 times a day. Oh it was better organized and more practical.

Now it's bloody useless.

Are you EVER positive about things?????

I wasn't saying its the bees knees but its a darn sight better than what they've had since I've been here which was NOTHING. I find the format a little stupid as well but I think it is still worth watching.

Yes, Ahn Chak-hee was a great host and the OLD Let's Speak Korean blew gattling gun-style holes into the sham of a show currently airing.

I must say the first time I watched I was excited. A few times later I realized theres no real way to learn off of it. It should be a min of 30 mins.

That show has been through at least three iterations that I know of....I agree with Joe that the version with Ms. Ahn was the best.

Ah, the womyn of Arirang....

I watch the show whenever I can. I think Stephen explains things really well.. I read that he was only the second person person ever to complete a masters in teaching Korean as a foreign language. As with all shows on Arirang the banter seems very forced at times, but as a keen korean learner I'm grateful it's on.

I second that. I don't use for learning, i use it to back up key concepts which i know but sometimes I forget or just to get a new perspective.
