Anyone know a good samgyetang restaurant near Gangnam Station.

Also, could you please give me directions how to get there.

no, but i know of an excellent one near city hall.

the only restaurants i've seen near kangnam station are japanese-korean fusion joints with a sprinkling of korean bbq...

That's funny. The only good restaurants in Gangnam are chains.

I like the Sae Mal Sam Gyeopsal chain. You know the place with the "eight minute gimchi chigae" and meat that is wafer thin sliced and rolled up and frozen (like the Shabu Shabu beef) then marinated in Goju Jang. Place is killer!

Actually I would also like to know the names of some other good restaurants in Gangnam or Yeoksam. There have got to be some decent mom and pop places there.

I'd like to know the answer to this too, as I usually eat it elsewhere.

The stuff at this place http://www.ckpalace.co.kr/ is okay but nothing special, and avoid Nonhyeon Samgyetang near the Outback between Nonhyeon and Sinnonhyeon Stations on Gangnamdaero.

I've been wanting to try the place called Hanbang Samgyetang out of Gangnam Station Exit 2, just past the Prugio showrooms, but I haven't gotten around to it yet.
