I'm looking for a good way to spend my friend's birthday. Ideally we could go somewhere fun or unique and then come back to Seoul in the same day, or one night away would be fine too.
What's a good day trip from Seoul to go on a date? (and how do you get there)
I heard Ilsan lake was a good place to go... has anyone been and is it worth the time?
If anyone knows of a good place (park, restaurant, museum, etc.) That is worth the time to go for a unique day trip from Seoul, please post it here. |

Ilsan Lake Park is definitely worth going to when the weather is a bit warmer and the flowers are in bloom. Right now it's not like that. It's probably the best park in and around Seoul (Gyoeongido) in my opinion. You also have La Festa right next to it for a spot of shopping.
Nami Island is pretty nice to visit too....the location of Winter Sonata (Korean romantic drama)....so a date type of place. Again perhaps when the weather warms up and the trees have leaves. Right now both places are a bit bare. |
