Can having a conviction for careless driving in your home country(fined 100 dollars) cause refusal of employment or issue of e2 visa? Anyone experienced this problem?

I got a criminal reckless and I got in fine. It wasn't on my record check but I declared it at my interview.

If it is on your CRIMINAL abstract you will be denied.

K-immi has a 0 tolerance for anything other than "no record" on the CRC.

If it is just on your driving abstract then you are fine.

Do you actually HAVE your CRC yet?

Get one and you will know for sure.

The agent has issued the final package with contracts and say its ok. (he first asked for explanation then said he would check with his Supervisor. Could this come back and haunt me? I think I'm just being paranoid

Good on ya. I declared mine at my interview in the interests of full disclosure so it wouldn't come back to bite me in the ass if there were any questions down the line. Since I'm moving on shortly, it doesn't matter anymore.
