Hi folks,

just wondering if anyone had experiences with Wizisland school based in Yangcheon-Gu?

I've been offered a job there starting early April - I've got one year of teaching under my belt so I know the basics, just wanting to know if they pay on time, what the general atmosphere is like and so on.

Any (constructive) input welcome.

If that's the place I am thinking of, I interviewed there once for a Part Time Kindy gig. I didn't take the job, so I don't know much about the school. If it is the same place, it was TINY. You would probably be the only native teacher there, if that matters to you. I though the school was only for kindy, but I might be wrong. You could be stuck making all kinds of materials and other junk if you only teach kindy.

Also, the area is a little inaccessible. It's quite far from Omokyo Stn. It would be about a 10-15 minute bus ride to the subway station. There was a Wonderland and a HUGE Topia school right near there though.

If it's near the Mokdong Wonderland in Shinjung-Dong, then ask Hobophobic and other posters who've lived out there for the skinny on the area. In my opinion, that area of Seoul is quite decent.
