Great food! Fills you up and leaves you satisfied. I've never been disapointed.

I thought ahead of time and grabbed handfuls of those sauce packets before flying. I found these Rico brand of nacho chips made in Texas at my local grocer last night, then went to a small butcher for some ground bulgogi at a pricey 12,000 won a pound, topped it with mozzarella since cheddar is absent, and made a taco salad that was the bomb. Taco Belly bomb that is. This is what you have to do when you think, "Yo Quiero Taco Bell!" if not in the USA or have access to US Army bases.

In response to an earlier post about Taco Bell in Asia...

They have Taco Bell in Manila. The ones I know of are in Quezon city...one across from St. Luke's hospital and the other at Trinoma mall. I can't remember if there's a Taco Bell in M.O.A.

Are you talking about western chains or restaurants that have good western food? There is a big difference.

I haven't been up to Seoul yet, but the ones I've seen in Gimhae, Busan, Geoje and Daegu are:

McDonalds
Dunkin Donuts
Baskin Robbins
Outback
Benngian's
TGIF
Burger King
Quiznos
Dairy Queen (used to be in Busan, not sure what happened to it)
Chili's (on a base)

i had taco bell on my vacation back to st.louis, misery, USA. bad news: they changed the formulas or the content or somewthing. the chili cheese burritos used to be like crack and it took more than two satisfy me. with the current formulation even a mere one was disgusting. i didn't want it. what was once addictive was now repulsive. i asked "in-town" friends and they concurred that "something" had changed at taco bell and it wasn't as good as before.

itried a couple other locations (as this was THE food crave of mine for over a year) and all lacked that certain zing.

RIP taco bell.

Taco Bell is opening in Itaewon next to the Quiznos, but the grand opening date is unknown. Does anybody know when that will be?

If anyone still cares, it's open. Bean burrito was de-lisch. Nachos were a little funny, but good. VERY small amount of cheese. And the crunchwrap tasted down right american. Plus it's like 4 stories tall...but all the seats were full. Line was like 10 minutes when I was there.

Yep, it's open. I went. And gorged.

I realize why Westerners are more obese - food filled with grease, salt, and meat just tastes so F%^&ING delicious. I was in heaven. (or hell?)

LoL, I introduced a Korean friend to Taco Bell last weekend. She had a chicken soft taco. About 10 minutes later, she was wanting more, LOL.
