| Honestly, I'm surprised America is even going to be in it at all. I'm guessing Italy will win again this year. |

The USA will always be in as their qualifying group is very weak. Same for Korea. Italy are very old and would not be considered a favorite.
I will be supporting Spain (the neutral's favorite) as well as all the African teams. |

Spain must be hot favorites. Experienced all across the back and at GK. Rock solid midfield and that small matter of the best striker in the world.
The average age of the Italians is about 39. |

You mean that American team that beat Spain last year and was leading 2-0 at the half against Brazil? Yeah, they suck. |

For those of you who were here during the last one can you confirm that they show every single game on your standard cable package.
Looks like the kick-off times will be fun, I'm going to be like a zombie for most of June, have already warned the wife... |

| Australia for sure, then either Spain(too much talent) or England(underachievers but I watch mostly the premier league). I hate Italy with a passion after the last world cup and the way Australia was cheated out of getting into the next round. |

Me too. That was heart rending. I'm a Kiwi, so obviously I hate Australians, but I really wanted to see them win that game. They fully deserved it. Probably their best chance too. It was the last time Kewell was fit. Cahill had emerged as a decent player by that stageand Viduka was in his prime. Plus Schwarzer. That was a very good Aussie team. |

| I think America has a great shot if we play well against England. Im a bit frustrated the Cote D'ivoire ended up in the group of death AGAIN. Didier Drogba is my favorite player |

In a summer friendly competition. Sorry, but it has to be said. |

| If the US play their best and England does not play their best (which they often dont in the early games) the US can beat England. Beating England is more important than winning the World Cup. |

Agreed. Although winning the World Cup would be spectacular I am not that naive. A solid showing and a victory over England would be amazing. All that being said I love the "Don't Tread on Me" logo, perfect for this grouping. |

No, they do not. Expect to see plenty of replays/highlights of Korean world cup games of '02 and '06, though. |
