What are some of the things you've noticed that are the same between non-Korean kids and Korean kids?
For example, during one lesson, my kids drew pictures describing their favorite seasons. Nearly every kid who drew a "Summer" picture also had the Sun wearing big black sunglasses. I can remember doing that when I was a kid.
Any other examples? |

Young ones like to run circles and get loud. I think all young kids are about the same, but they become whatever (I.e. Korean) as they get older due to cultural influences. I don't see Korean kids as Koreans, but just simply as children as all children show very similar qualities due to being all human. With adults, it's Koreans, Americans, and such that exhibit stark differences due to taking on different values and living in different environmental, political, and economic conditions. Kids are kids. |
