Do you ever have thoughts that kinda stick with you and endure?
Sometimes I think about that poor girl, Jamie Penich, who was killed in Itaewon back in 2002. I think it's because the motel where it happened is still in Itaewon, with the same sign hanging out front. When I see the sign, I can't help but think of her.
Does this ever happen to you? |

a little less gruesome. but I think about the vending machines in korean bathrooms that dispense toilet paper a lot. As well as how terrible it would be to realize that you have no change for toilet paper. |

I am terrified of the Economic stronghold that the American Government has on the world.
I am terrified of the fact that if Amerca doesnt back a decision for the globe then there is no chance of achieving the goal ( realistically) without their particpation
I am terrified of the fact that their government does not answer to the people they answer to CEOS and shareholders, and that they do not get done what the people actually need.
I am terrified that this lack of democracy in their country will continue to trickle into mine through influence.
I am terrifed of the fact that capitalism is going to one day destroy our lives as we know it........and it most certainly will so long as it is run by greedy, selfish, selfserving control freaks who don't want to share their piece of the pie.
Yeah thats about it, right now I go for the most pressing problem affecting the entire globe at the moment. |

I am constantly fascinated and intrigued by my emotional life. This at times haunts me and motivates me. I have an acute emotional memory: the smell of a mound of leaves mixed with other olfactory triggers can awaken part of me to exactly how I felt and looked at the world when I was a child of 5. Memories flood my mind. Some are only feeling memories and others images. Foods do this quite often as well. But what haunts me is the clear picture of my life passing from innocence to cynicism, and the emotionally deadening effect this has on my passions and sensitivity to life. To me this is also a consequence of the forgetfulness of time, but there is a great sadness in there as well. This is part of the reason why art and the creative life are an essential part of my being. |

Dream Theater are opening up for Iron Maiden in North America. Going to be a good show. After Seasons, Slayer are hit and miss for me.

If I died or had a serious accident (coma) here in Korea, how long before anyone found out, and how long would it take for my family to know. What kind of trouble would my family have to go through if this happened. |

No doubt the traveler's secret burden is that very insecurity. Fortunately, most folks make it home safe and sound. |

Thats right. The leaders and politicians in your country (whichever one it is) are pure and trustworthy, the corporations arent greedy, and the voters are highly enlightened. Yet big bad USA is ruining this wonderful land. |

yeah their material after seasons is definitely not as good as their older stuff.... I suppose indoctrination via Opeth couldn't hurt as well. |

I'm haunted by past regret. Time wasted, opportunities squandered, embarrassing moments, etc. Ironically, wasting time thinking about this s*** means I waste more time, |
