hmm... i can recall seeing some limited supply of games at Carrefour's...and a little less at E-mart and K-mart....as for pictionary...its so easy to make up word cards by yourself, you don't need to buy the game. Another game thats good is Taboo. again, you can make up word cards by yourself as the actual game is too difficult for esl'ers. |

If you are desperate you can go to Busan to the book shop near Lotte Seomyeon(name I can't remember). They sell all the board games in English there.
They had scrabble, pictionary, monopoly,etc... |

I bought a scrabble game today at Withus Bookstore. It is on the main road that goes south after Migliore (go past Kyobo, after Migliore, at the next main street, go right. Then go several blocks until just before the street where the subway is being built. It will be on the right hand side, but it is small and on the second floor- hard to find.) The phone number is 427-1117. The website is www.withusbook.co.kr
They have a lot of other games, and a ton of ESL books. Try to get the 10% discount for teachers. |

I was going to say Withus. But Desultude beat me to the punch. Withus is downtown. Thing of Downtown as one big block with no major roads (minor yes) going through it. Kyobo is on one corner and Withus is on the opposite corner. It is very close to the Gypsy Rock Club. Big Yellow Sign.
Some other places to maybe get some board games - Kyobo, Youngpoon, and other smaller english book stores like Tommy Book and English House.
Prices for some games maybe expensive - avoid getting UNO at withus buy it at any Toy Store for less. Buy the Made in China Version not the Made in America Version.
Good Luck

Update. I was at Kyobo Yesterday and they have a few English Board Games Like CLUE and Monopoly. Not in Kyobo in Daegu. In the Basement of the Kyobo Building in "Work and Hobby"

Used board games can often be had by watching the buy/sell sections on ESL websites; sometimes teachers are going home and want to unload stuff they have accumulated. |

Another place to find used games is ebay- but you have to pay for the shipping. There is even a lot of Big Boggle games on Ebay, and they cannot be found in stores anymore. |
