Yeah it's pretty bad, but not so much when you take into account the fascination with poo that seems to exist here. |

Good job, KT. The cartoon shows the usual dignity and restraint. |

Hm... so they can post a picture of sh-t, but we're not supposed to call it. |

Sure. Just like a newspaper in the west can probably post a picture of Liberty Leading The People, but if you go on to their comments board and write "Nice jugs", it'll likely get deleted.
Anyone who's been here for awhile should know that visual representations of feces are not really taboo in the Korean media, especially when done for humor. I'm not a huge fan of it personally, but that's the way their culture rolls, and it's hardly an ethical issue. If you're offended by scatological humor, you probably should find somewhere else to live. |

I'm not quite sure why the elephant is spouting water out of the hole in its head (where the flagpole is jammed in). |

Whether or not the cartoon is gross or nasty, it shows a lack of creativity and is just weak and uninspied. Quite fitting for the Korea Times. |

The KT should have a rendering of a pile of crap right between "Korea" and "Times". |

This picture isn't nearly as bad as the Russian bear splitting the subway cart in half. Honestly, what were they thinking. I'm glad the editor was fired over that. |
