Hi, I am going there on Tuesday but don't actually know the easiest way to get to it!

I am doing the half marathon on Wednesday (children's day) and will be getting a bus to seoul (nambu) on tuesday morning and should arrive in Nambu at 2-3pm.

From what I can make out, suwon university has lots of campuses in the one general area in Hwaseong Si. I will just try and find a motel once I get there, so as long as I can be close enough to the start line I will be happy enough.

So, my friendly peeps, how the heck do I get here easily?

Here is a map of the course so you can see the starting line.

the starting point is 수원대학교 운동장, 융건릉일원 (University of Suwon Sports Complex, one won Jung, geonreung)

Thanks

To be honest, there are regular buses and shuttle buses that will take you there from Byeomjeong Station and Suwon Station - and if you do your research, there are buses that you can take from Seoul.

Personally the easiest way to find it - is hop in a cab from either of the two mentioned stations and tell them Suwon University. It will be a bit pricey (approx. 15,000) but will get you there with no problems - and you won't have to be crammed onto a bus with uni students.

I have been looking on the internet and i also checked lonely planet. I just have no idea what stop I should get off if the subway goes there or what bus I should get if I go to the bus station.

I know the general area of the university and I will be arriving the day before, I just need to know the name of the stop I should look out for.
