Listen to American soldiers congratulate each other on killing Iraqis.
A: Oh, yeah. Look at those dead bastards.
B: Nice!

Alex Jones (www.infowars.com) interview a former CIA who saw this footage and mentioned that several rules of engagement were violated, mainly having to do that the people on the ground not posing an immediate threat.
The bigger picture of this footage is that there is probably a lot more events just like this that have occurred and were not properly reported (the footage in this video was written of as the people caught caught in the cross-fires with enemy combatants.) |

They make a lot of mistakes. They killed 2 Canadian soldiers in Afghanistan. The soldiers in question were high on a type of amphetamine, a common practice in the U.S. military to keep then awake and on edge. Unfortunately, it also clouds their judgement. But that doesn't matter so long as Americans don't get killed. |

Relax, guys, President Obama pulled us out of Iraq nearly a year ago. This is all imaginary -- like Guantanamo Bay, extraordinary rendition, and middle class tax burden. |

You mean mistakes happen in war? At least it's only the US that makes those mistakes. |

A lot of people think the war in Iraq itself is a mistake. If you're American, here's a sobering statistic.

And it's coming out of your tax dollars. Pack it up, bring the troops home and let the Iraqis sort out the rest. |

How do you think the Vietnam war ended? Didn't the U.S. just pack up and leave? |

Since there are laws in place about packing up and what you can and can't leave behind, it will take about 2-3 years to get everything out.
This is coming from an podcast I heard from a class at Berkeley. Found here. |
