Does anyone know if the banks will be open on Friday 21st? It is Buddha's birthday, and I have the day off from work, but I'm flying out on the Sunday and will need to change money at some point.

They will NOT be open.

You can however change your money at the ICN airport. The rate is the same as the rate at the (same branded) bank in the city.

UNLIKE most airports in most countries the money changers at ICN are mandated by law to provide the SAME rates that they do in the city.

.

Thanks ttompatz that's useful info. I guess I'll just exchange money at the airport before I leave.
