I know I've seen a thread on this before, but I can't seem to find it. Anyway, my apartment and person are being invaded by mosquitoes since the weather has become warmer. What do you guys do to kill them? I know I should just keep the window closed, but I like fresh air now and again.

Those plug-ins that burn the unscented mosquito repellant always worked well for me...Pick some up at emart or else youre in for a long, sleepless summer of mogi attacks.

Carcinogens are way better than sleepless nights.

There are no mosquitos. They are a hallucination. The voices are also not real. Now open your window and get some rest.

I sleep in a mosquito net during the summer - most camping outlets sell them here.

I'd feel weird in a net, but a pretty good idea!

Last year I went to Deukjuk Island. At night the mosquitos were bad.

Those mosquitos were like 3 times bigger than Seoul mosquitos. And they dive bombed you. My friend got bitten THROUGH his canvas shoes. I got bit through my jeans. We were sitting outside and had mosquito coils going around us and under our chairs. They were not effective.

Doesn't your city smoke the mosquitos? In the city where i used to teach they fumigated them on the streets. It worked great for summer, but in the fall they didn't fumigate, and the mosquitos stayed all the way into December.

Yeah where I was at they had these huge striped looking black mosquitos that came out in the daytime. Fortunately they were easy to spot and slow and easy to kill.

After the inevitable bite(s), you really need to stock up on some Bom-mul-li, available at your local pharmacy. Don't accept imitations, just the real stuff in the puke-yellowish green bottle with the bright green top. Works like a charm everytime. I sometimes wish I could take a bath in that stuff. Laughing
