Yep. Works fine.
You need to start off with a clean install (not jailbroken) so be careful about how you go about restoring your phone if its currently jailbroken if you want to stay at the same firmware. For example, I'm on 3.1.2 and wanted to stay there so I needed to restore using Saurik's signature server and my cached SHSH blobs. |

I posted a message in the iPhone sticky but all ask again here. Is this just a jailbreak? Will it unlock my phone? I really want an unlock feature as we are headed to South America for a couple of months.
My iPhone is 3.1.3 with new boot rom. Not the old one.

But now that 3.1.3 is able to be jailbroken with Spirit, why are you worrying about upgrading from 3.1.2? |

| Because 3.1.3 upgrades the baseband to 05.12.07 for which there is no unlock (as far as I know). |
