If I flirt with a girl I get the cold shoulder.

If a millionaire sports star flirts with a girl then she accuses him of Sexual harrassment and sues him for all he's worth.

If you look only at statistics, then we should all live in fear of pretty much everyone else, with the possible exception of very young children and the extremely old and infirm. Pretty much anyone else you meet, regardless of group affiliation, has a reasonable chance of being some sort of dangerous criminal statistically.
