It's the rainy season, so I'm told. Having never been there, what is it like? Is there going to be torrential downpours every moment thus ruining my plans of sun tanning, reading, and drinking?
Basically, will I be pissing my money away for a rainy week? Or will the weather be OK?
Thanks! |

Normally you would expect daily showers as compared to torrential downpours and the winds would be on-shore (meaning the water may not be as clean).
BUT... there has been a drought this year and it looks like it won't be ending any time soon so your plans are probably fine.
If you are not worried about swimming on the beach you will be fine. If you did want swimming, then it is only 800 meters to the back side of the island where the breeze would be off-shore.
The nightly activities don't stop either way...
