I worked there a few years ago.
Bundang is pretty nice IMO. Clean, easy to get around and alright shopping. |

Clean, quiet, middle-class(in Korean terms), family-orientated suburb. 40 mins from Gangnam.
....and BORING AS HELL!!!!
I'd advise first-time teachers who want to have a social life to get a job in a lively Seoul neighborhood. |

Well if you are all for boozing and picking up chicks at seedy bars, yeah it is boring in that respect.
If you are into outdoors, fresh air and less congestion, Pundang rocks.
I miss being able to walk around so much and not cough at all the pollution from the cars etc.
Pundang has movie theaters, shopping, bars, restaurants and believe it or not there are chicks there...you just have to be creative in how you approach them.
I say give it a go. I would if my job wasn't so far from there. |

Bundang is awesome! It is the best city to work at in Korea, in terms of living.
Eamo misses Hongdae too much. |
