Just got the Desire. Haven't come to grips with it much yet. The Android OS is way more complicated than iPhone OS, but I knew that going in. So far it is awesome.

We got 90% of the way through the sign up process under my name. After some back and forth over the phone, it was determined that, in fact no. Waegoogin can't sign up for this particular phone. Too bad. Anyways, it's under my GF's name.

Sorry to contradict you, my phone is under my name. I actually had, at that time, 3 phones in my own name. There IS a limit of 2 phones per carrier for certain VISA types. Just like the iPhone, if you have 2 years on your VISA, you can sign up for this phone.

I've used my friends iPhone and I can't say that the interface is more complicated. There are simply more choices.

What kind of VISA are you on though? I'm only E2.

Does anyone know how to check the balance of your 3G web usage? I'm guessing you can access it through the SK web site some how?

I checked out the Desire today, and it looked sweet. I'm just not happy signing for 2 years. The rate that technology moves in Korea is so fast, that 2 years is a lifetime!
