I've only kept up with three tv series over the past few years: House, mythbusters and Lost. Now Lost is done, it's over and I need a fix to fill the void. So, I'm looking for opinions on "24". Worth watching or should I move on to something else? |

I would start with season 1 of "The Wire" and go from there. |

I thought the first 2 seasons of 24 were good to watch. I didn't watch after season 2 because I thought the plot was getting a bit repetitive.
If you liked lost, then check out "The Fringe". I believe that is another show that JJ Abrams is producing. |

Hey there,
NOTHING beats Seasons 1 and 2 of 24 for decent entertainment value.
3 was not as good as first 2 but still enjoyable
After 4 and 5 you have a combination of it feeling a little repetitive, they are decent, but a bit of "seen that" to it Season 5 has an AWESOME ending
Season 6 was the WORST of them, quite pathetic really
Season 7 Starts off on a wicked high note starts dragging a bit about half way to 2 thirds, and then is kind of meh by the end
Season 8 is average, could have been better, but not terrible, its watchable
Lets put it this way If you like Season 1 you will like the show if you are bored by Season 3 then you can likely stop after that.
I was surprised by how much I enjoyed watching Stargate SG1, not sure if thats your thing, but it had decent writing, good characters and Richrad Dean Anderson is HILARIOUS in it.
i know thats not a show even closely related to 24, just throwing it out |

I agree. It help my interest for the first two seasons. After that the concept and the plot grow stale. |
