Decided to finally start sending some cash home, set up an internet account at KEB as getting time out of school isn't very easy. Everything went hunky dory until......my mac didn't like the website. I got an error as I don't have a certain plugin for a MIME type.

Any ideas? I'd rather not do this stuff on the school's computers.

there are instructions if you have a Mac. They should have given you a print out. I think you have to download and install something. I don't use a Mac, but I know the option is there.

Go to the bottom of the main page and you will see this link which will download a program specifically for macs. You will need to go to your bank and get a little electric number thingy that will give you passwords so you can wire money.

Thanks. I found the link and downloaded the program.

My bank gave me a small card with a set of codes on it which I'm to keep private, would I assume that's what you are referring to?

I'm to set up a password now. This is more confusion. There is space for my foreign registration number, but then to confuse matters, next to the box on the right side it says "in case of foreigner, enter registered customer number", what's that all about.

Yeah, it's a separate program you have to download and install. Like the above poster said, you need to go to the bank and ask for an OTP card (one time password dongle that spits out numbers). They might not understand why you need it cause it's usually for big transactions, but just tell them you need it because you have a Mac. They might ask for your security card and rip it up since the OTP will replace it.

Is this card also called a KEB Security Card? It is a credit card sized card with many codes on the back of it.

No it's different. It's an actual electronic dongle that has an ever changing number on it.

Call their help number, 1544-3000. They speak English and are very helpful. Just be sure to tell them you are on a Mac.

I see, thanks. I'm not familiar with the term dongle.
