Thanks for any advice in advance.

I'm a certified public school teacher in NYC, have been teaching middle school for 4 years and I have a masters in education. I am looking for a summer job (July 2nd-August 13th) in or around Seoul. I've already purchased the ticket, I have a place to stay and I have all my documents ready (i.e. diploma, transcripts, criminal background check and health record).

My question is: How likely is it to find work within the next 4 weeks and get my E4? I had a position that fell through and that's why I'm stranded with such little time to find work. I'm not real desperate for the money (in fact, I would volunteer), I just want to be invested in something for the 7 weeks I'll be there for.

Also, I'm considering going through a recruitment agency and I've seen on the forum that Korvia is reputable. Any suggestions on the recruitment front?

Thanks in advance...

jp

If you've never worked in Korea before, you may need to get your visa in your country of origin.

Yup...

As of now, that's the plan. I'll be in NYC for another 4 weeks.

There are lots of summer camp jobs around that time, and your qualifications are A+. Just keep applying for suitable jobs. If a recruiter has good jobs available, then use them. I think you need a C4 visa, which I think can be processed quickly, but I'm not sure of the regulations nowadays.
