Hi all. My uni is looking to expand its base of converstation books for our textbooks. We currently use Ventures, Firsthand and Interchange. Anyone care to point out their favorite books for adult level? Your least favorite will also be welcome. |

At the university where I work we tried NorthStar Listening/Speaking series and overall it's a pretty good series. The part that sounded appealing was the online application which makes it mandatory that the students go home and log in with a code from their book and create an account and keep up to date on assigned materials. There are a variety of homework assignments and overall it's a decent series, definitely worth a try. |

Hope I am not hijacking this thread, but I think my question is in line with the op's.
I recently finished Interchange 3 with my class and am looking for a good upper-intermediate or advanced level book to continue on with. Any suggestions for upper level adult conversation based books?

I've always found the Headway series to be pretty good, but maybe that's because I've taught it so many times. |

Doesn't anyone have a problem with these global textbooks? This is Korea. |
