My hand-me-down work computer seems to have some security issues. Since I got it, I've had Microsoft insecure connection warning things (yellow shielf with exclamation point) as well as some V3 Security thing that pops up all the time. There is also a capsule thing (green and grey) that pops up constantly.
These programs are in Korean and my co-teacher is too busy to help fix it. Can you recommend simple, free programs that I can use to keep the computer secure?
P.S.: I've done what I think were a Windows update several times and the computer restarted, but it doesn't go away.

If you can, uninstall V3.....it has been compromised many times by spyware and adware......
After uninstalling V3, reboot and install a free but reputable anti-virus...............something like AVG or Avast.
Run a full scan and hope it can remove whatever you've got. |

How do I add or remove? My home computer is an ol school Mac. I've gone to (S) then (C) which is where I thought it was, but it's not there.
By the way, the windows thing says:
Update seolchi Bangbeobeul Seontaekhoshibshiyo.
Blah blah blah.
Bbareun seorchi (gwonjang) E
Blah blah blah
Seoyongja jeongwee (Gogeub) U
Blah blah blah
(Seolchi) (Chweeso) |

At work I roll with AVG and SUPERAntiSpyware...
At home I've taken out AVG (it's a resource hog on startup while it checks for updates) and gone with Microsoft Security Essentials. |
