Anyone know how to get rid of these ads that constantly popup and slow my computer down?I get the same Korean porno ads recently.I've cleaned out my temporary folder, removed cookies, and used a program called ad-watch.I don't want to rely on Popup Killer because it still kills time and productivity.

You can also try this program, which gets rid of Korean Adware and Spyware.

http://www.ad-spider.com/down.asp

Just click the download button on the left. It's all in Korean, but other programs, like Adaware, don't get rid of Korean Adware and Spyware.

Good luck,

the latest version of netscape blocks all popups unless you specify it's OK- everything looks better with Netscape too, I don't know why, but it does.

Tried it and on my english XP and couldn't get any command of it.I do believe I have the Korean language font installed, hence I can read and write Korean online without a gliche, but on anything else including MSN messenger and the aforementioned software by ad-spider, all I get are symbols in software messages and commands.Any remedy for this?

Anyways this little spyware or adware was one tough mother fucker. It was slowing my computer down majorly.I had enough and restored it back a few days. It's back to normal now.
I remember the beginning of the URL was something like http://www.molamola... Anybody ever seen this? "molamola" literally is "don't know don't know."

Now, I've got to find a good spyware and adware software for future protection.

ThisCharmingMan,

Sorry, can't help you there...I'm using Korean XP at home, so I don't have the problems you do. My only suggestion would be to install the program on a computer with Korean XP (or other O/S - maybe at work or a PC Bang) and figure out which buttons you need to scan and clean your computer. Once you've figured that out, you should be able to run the program on your computer, even if you can't "read" the buttons.

I've been using Adaware for a while now, but when I ran that AD-SPIDER program, it got rid of a ton of Korean spyware that Adaware had never touched.

Go to www.downloads.com and search for programs that remove spyware and also browser hijackers, which is what you've got.

QUIT LOOKING AT THAT PORN!!!!

hahahhaha... can come from other stuff too.

This program will do what you want, I think:

Also, you can try a program called, "Adaware" which can be found on that site.

try using browsers other than IE.

Opera, Firefox, & Avantbrowser (IE with extras) all have built in pop-up stoppers
