I see the USA winning. Sure, Ghana is is good, but team USA has been playing some great football; versus Slovakia and Algeria were two pretty exciting games, especially Algeria with that great goal by Donovan in extra time.

"Sure, I've been called a xenophobe, but the truth is I'm not. I honestly just feel that America is the best country and all the other countries aren't as good. That used to be called 'patriotism'. "

Ghana have looked well ropey in all their games, the yanks keep it simple and organised, play attacking football, the yanks will go through.

I like the American team. They also play with a ton of heart and
determination.

One thing I particularly like is that they don't take wussy dives like
90% of the other teams.

Barring any more blown calls, 2 in this world cup alone,( seems to be
a trend, remember 2002, 2006?) I can see them beating Ghana.

Here's the interesting thing, If America makes it through and Korea does
as well, guess who they will be facing? Yep! Eachother.

Go USA. Never really supported american teams as a kiwi, but they've been getting some hit as calls against them and have been playing attacking football. Deserve to be there!

I have never really supported an American team in anything in my life, and I'm American! But, I have fallen hard for the beautiful game (thanks Argentina), and this scrappy, plucky team of American players.

We feel proud to call them our own, even if they are not perfect. They've got heart and spirit.

Go guys, go!!! I will be cheering you on tonight with everything I've got!

A benefit in the long run..... the longer the Red White and Blue can continue to relegate the game to grade 6 and under for the majority of the population, the better!

waves the Stars-n-Stripes in a jingoistic manner....

Yes, in Korea, it takes real balls to cheer for a country that is not playing against Korea.

Hardcore, man, hardcore.
