One Hooters closed and another has opened? Does anyone know what's happening?

Looks like they closed the one in Apkujeong. Probably realized moving to Yongsan would see an increase in traffic.

Now if they could just open one in Bundang...

The one is Yongsan is HORRIBLE. I had one of the worst burgers in my life at that joint and it's in the basement.

I'm surprised they closed the Apgujeong branch. Based on the times I went there, that place did good business but perhaps the high rent caused them to move elsewhere.

I thought all Hooters restaurants were horrible. The women are there to distract you from the quality of the food, no?

I've never had bad food at Hooters, but the prices are much too high for what it is. I wouldn't go back unless it's some kind of party or event.

Their hot wings with blue cheese dressing are worth it.

The food at the Apgu branch was fine, but gosh, the Yongsan one was beyond horrible. I had the wagyu burger lunch special and it was one of the worst burgers I've had in my life.

The TV reception was also really bad, too.

The one at the Yeoksam road intersection is also gone (that's between Baengbaeng Sageori and Gangnam station). Not a loss at all except it was always convenient for giving directions.

The girls who worked there were nice as far as waitresse go, but they lacked the essential features that made Hooters worth visiting.

My experiences with Hooters in Korea have been a little flat.

I'm guessing you haven't been to the one in Sinnonhyeon?
At least one of the waitresses there will certainly satisfy your ogling needs.
The food really is terrible though.

I liked the food.

The burger I got there was better than the likes of KrazeBurger or other Korean places. The wings are great. I like getting half breaded/half naked wings. The 3-mile sauce.

There are a lot of people that don't live within walking distance to Itaewon, therefore, we can not easily go there to enjoy great tasting burgers and wings.

My favorite wings are at Buffalo Wild Wings in the USA. Spicy Garlic, Manga Habenaro, and Wild Sauce are all good. Since there are no BW3's in Korea, I make do with Hooters. Yes, it is extremely overpriced here so I only go to Hooters like once a year for my "want to eat something that reminds me of food back home" fix.

erm, unless they closed down this past Saturday, you're wrong. And believe me there is one mightily endowed young lady who had all of us, male female, giggly like school kids.

The food is crap for people who don't eat chicken, beef, or non-seafood meat.
