Hey, thought I'd share the good news. Taco Bell is finally open in Itaewon. My friend ate lunch there today and sent a photo as proof. Looks magically delicious and just like it does at home. Run for the border!!!! Wooooooot!!!!

If they have ANY business sense at all, that will change.

I don't really like Taco Hell, but at 3 or 4am after a night of shenanigans, even I can do with a rice and bean burrito made from rehydrated stuff.

I don't understand the fuss about Chipotle. I don't think it's that good and it's so expensive!

The next time that anyone claims that there are plenty of good restaurants in Itaewon with reasonable prices remember all of these Taco Bell threads. Clearly there is a demand that no one is meeting.

I don't think I've heard so many people talk about kimchi cures, how to send money home, and where to find deli meats in my life. It's so weird that people sometimes talk about different issues when they find themselves living in very different circumstances than the ones they usually live in.

I also want proof of heartburn and diarrhea before I believe it's a REAL Taco Bell.

Stupid and familliar are far more powerful than taste or common sense. The North American continent has spent generations trying to eridacate cooking and good food only to blame smokes for all our healh troubles.
Sometimes I think its WWII on your eating habits.
