SEOUL, South Korea (AP) -- Military officers from North Korea and the American-led U.N. Command met Thursday for talks on the deadly sinking of a South Korean warship that has been blamed on Pyongyang.
The sides were meeting at the Korean border village of Panmunjom as scheduled, U.N. Command spokesman Kim Yong-kyu said. It was the first such meeting since the March 26 sinking dramatically raised tension on the Korean peninsula

Did anyone else note the date.
Its wednesday and he's talking ABOUT TODAY IF IT ALREADY OCCURED.
I wonder if he can predict lottery results. |

Ah missed that.
Sorry forgot about the propensity for eastern district time (?). My schooling focused on GMT.
Didn't realise growing up that there were two completely different time zones in the US. I guess it never bothered me as it had no impact on my life until I came to Korea and played online pc games with people in the states. |

Actually it's Eastern Daylight Time (EDT) and Eastern Standard Time (EST) in the winter.
The U.S. also has four time zones in the contiguous 48, and an additional two time zones for Alaska and Hawaii, for a total of six time zones. |

T-J: You forgot about the time zones for Guam, Johnston Island, and the other possessions. |

Unlike England, which has lost all it's glory, the sun never sets on the American empire.
Only one time zone in the US...hah, that's funny. And thinking their soccer team was good. Boy these English people sure are good for some laughs. |

Eh? I knew there were different time zones, and plenty decried the football team as crap and over-rated.
Also, sun never sets on the American Empire? You sure?
Honestly, man.
Then some Americans act all surprised and defensive when others have a low opinion of them. *shakeths the head* |
