Emart and other mega stores have shelves and shelves of ever incarnation of tuna in the can except water. Or at least I haven't read the label properly.
Anyone know of what "tuna in water" is? Or "tuna in brine?" Just anything except all that oil. |

Dong Won brand just started producing Chunk light tuna in water. I used to have to spend a fortune and get it at costco. But Emart started stocking this. It doesn't come in a traditional tuna can but a green pouch. 170 grams for about 2,900. It says 동원라이트튜나 on the green package. Its usually next to a similar blue Dong Won pouch that is tuna packed in olive oil. |

Homeplus has been selling that for ages..
I guess Emart is trying to keep up with the trends of foreign shoppers - but they are still way behind. |

The "mild" tuna is supposed to be in water but it's really just less oil. You can rinse it with hot water to save money over the Costco tuna, which is double the price it is in the U.S. (I know. I just bought some in Florida.) Costco's tuna is very good though and so it its canned salmon. |

Just go to the fish mart and get Tuna in Mild E-coli. Good for a system clean out. |

Taking me yonks to get through all these tuna variations. All I ever knew was tune and tuna in sunflower oil. Now there's Fruit tune, Veggy tuna, SPICE tuna... SPICE tuna... wow, crazy, crazy stuff, but great. |
